Empire In The News - Edition 1

Due to unforseen economic conditions, Empire has been forced to sell their corporate Yacht. In the last board meeting on the SS Empire, executives unanimously decided that they would sell their corporate Yacht to avoid having to file for Chapter 11 like some other businesses.

The following statement was issued by Jeremy Blake, Co-Founder and CEO of Empire Board Games after the decision was made to sell the prized piece of floating steel:

Words can’t begin to express the sorrow we have felt over the last few weeks. This was not an easy decision. Many good times were had aboard the SS Empire but when push came to shove, we decided we would sell the boat and continue passing amazing board game prices down to our excellent customers.

Mr. Blake’s statement was cut short when his eyes teared up as he began speaking of his deep love for his customers. “I just love those guys” he told reporters as a tear rolled off his cheek.

We have had tons of requests for board games lately. In conjunction with those requests, we’ve also had requests from people for a feature to keep on top of new games that we get in stock. Empire now announces SMS Updates!

Now you can receive text message updates when we get new hot board games in stock! You won’t be bothered every time we get a game in stock, just the hot ones.! Although this isn’t the all-in-one solution to keep you guys updated, it will sure help you stay on top of the big releases.

Things to keep in mind:

- Your Cell # is secure with us. We won’t sell your info or abuse it in any way. Pinky promise.
- We won’t abuse these updates. You can expect one update weekly, MAX!

We have had multiple questions (albeit from the same person) about whether Bang! The Bullet! Is still a pre-order. The confusion lies in the fact that the product is listed as “in stock” however, the title states “Pre-Order.” 

The title is correct. The game is a pre-order. Sorry about the confusion.

We still have no definite arrival date for Bang! The Bullet!

Hey guys,

It’s the season of last minute purchases and broken hearts. Good times, good times.

I just wanted to urge you to purchase your board games as soon as possible to make sure they arrive by Christmas. There is nothing worse (for the customer and our customer support) to have someone order a game two days before Christmas and pay for Parcel Post shipping - with the expectation of it arriving by Christmas.

Please keep this in mind as you shop:

- USPS Parcel Post: Super Slow - Super Cheap
- USPS Priority: 2-3 Day Shipping. A bit more expensive. (Time may vary depending on our stock)
- UPS Ground:  5-6 day delivery.

We decided to sponsor a contest! All customers are invited to compete! This is how the promotion will go: You place an order with Empire, we ship your order with one of our awesome promotional buttons, you take a picture of yourself, or your posse, (see details below), you send the picture to support@empireboardgames.com.
