Empire Forced To Sell Corporate Yacht Due To Unforseen Economic Conditions

Due to unforseen economic conditions, Empire has been forced to sell their corporate Yacht. In the last board meeting on the SS Empire, executives unanimously decided that they would sell their corporate Yacht to avoid having to file for Chapter 11 like some other businesses.

The following statement was issued by Jeremy Blake, Co-Founder and CEO of Empire Board Games after the decision was made to sell the prized piece of floating steel:

Words can’t begin to express the sorrow we have felt over the last few weeks. This was not an easy decision. Many good times were had aboard the SS Empire but when push came to shove, we decided we would sell the boat and continue passing amazing board game prices down to our excellent customers.

Mr. Blake’s statement was cut short when his eyes teared up as he began speaking of his deep love for his customers. “I just love those guys” he told reporters as a tear rolled off his cheek.
