We sincerely do regret to inform you that if you placed an order for Conflict Of Heroes: Awakening The Bear! – Russia 1941-42 over the last few days, the order will not be fulfilled. All customers who placed an order for that game alone (meaning not with any other games) will receive a complete refund. For those people that placed a mixed order (meaning Conflict Of Heroes + other games) you will receive an email by the end of the night tonight (Empire Time (MST)) asking whether you want to cancel the complete order for a full refund, or if you would rather we ship everything except Conflict of Heroes and you will be refunded the difference. If your order was originally placed over the $90.00 free shipping threshold, we will still honor the free shipping if the refund places the total below $90.00.
How This Happened:
As you did, we trusted that our supplier had the correct stock listed on their site. This was in fact not the case. We purchased a large quantity of Conflict Of Heroes: Awakening The Bear! from our supplier as it was listed as “in stock” on their site. We were notified that this was an error in their system and as a result, we have to refund all orders that were placed through us. We feel your frustration and we sincerely apologize.
Thank you for your understanding,
Jeremy
UPDATE: We have refunded all single orders. When we get Conflict of Heroes in stock, we will contact you and ask if you would again like to purchase the game at the original price.

Hey everybody,
In light of some recent events and questions, we have posted a policy page for clarification. This page will be updated from time to time. Please remember, we are a new company and we are making our best effort to clarify our policy’s and ensure you have the best shopping experience possible. Please bear with us and don’t hesitate to let us know if you have any questions regarding either your order, or our policy page. Suggestions are always welcome, as well. Feel free to post suggestions you may have in the comments below.

A Note: If you notice an “As Low As” price on our games, please excuse us. There is currently a glitch in our system that sometimes resets pricing. If this happens to you, please wait a few moments and refresh the page. We’re constantly monitoring the site, and we have to manually reset pricing when this happens. Please bear with us. Thanks for your understanding. We’re hoping on a fix for this within the next couple of days weeks.

Yes, it’s true. We see it as well as you do. The real winner was Dominion. As much as we wish we could offer it to you, it is currently out of our hands. We are expecting it soon, and will offer it as soon as it is available to us. Good news though, Arkham Horror: Curse of the Dark Pharoah Expansion is now available and the estimated ship date (to you) is this Wednesday. We’re currently offering it at the amazing price of $13.65. Lost Cities was a close runner up, so that is also available for purchase. Wednesday is the estimated ship date on that as well.
Buy Arkham Horror: Curse of the Dark Pharoah – $13.65
Buy Lost Cities – $16.25
About Our Estimated Ship Dates: Some people have asked if our items are drop-shipped. The answer to this question is “No”. All games are shipped from our headquarters in Utah. Even the products that have an “estimated ship date”. We receive the games from our suppliers, we ship the games to you!

This game is currently out of stock, but I’ve heard many people pronounce this many different ways. My reason for posting this is to see how YOU, fellow Empire Board Gamer, pronounce the board game Agricola. You may use any concoction of letters that you feel you need to get your point across.
This is just for fun. Post your responses in the comments.
There are all sorts of weird sounding board games out there, so maybe we’ll make this a weekly or monthly deal. And perhaps we’ll hand out some prizes for the most off-the-wall way of saying the game. Just an idea.

…Empire Is Here!
Just a little update. You know all the promo codes we’ve been handing out lately? Turns out that the code won’t work if you have 3 or more items in your cart. We know, we know. We’re just as annoyed as you are. Go ahead and place the order anyways though and be sure to drop us a line. Tell us which coupon you were trying to use and we will refund you the amount that you should have been discounted in the first place PLUS an additional dollar ($1.00) refund for the inconvenience of you having to email us.
The store is new, so please bear with us. We’re trying to work out all the kinks. We’ll let you know when we get this one sorted out.

A Dagger Through The Heart of the Empire
We just thought we would make you all aware of a cute little back-stabbing trick that one of our partners in successs competitors tried to injur us with lately.
Of course we’re all familiar with the age-old sphiatt rumors and misconceptions, but apparently p o z y isn’t ready to let the dust settle, nor let the rumors dissipate.
Over the last few days, Empire has been doing routine traffic checks to see where (precisely) recent web traffic has been coming from. We noticed p o z y was among the many websites directing traffic our way. Apparently they noticed this too, and in an effort to cripple our customer base, the clever goons used a profanity blocker to swap the words (phrase) “Empire Board Games” with “Hiatt & Hiatt Enterprises”. Correct us if we’re wrong, but that’s what it looks like to us. Please, somebody tell p o z y we are weeping.
A couple of examples:

Who knows, maybe it was just some newly-knighted moderator on his high horse, abusing his newly aclaimed powers on the p o z y forums. We hope this is the case and that they will see their mistake and delete said profanity blocker rule. If this is not changed within the week, Empire will consider it a direct act of war and will be forced to adjust it’s prices accordingly! Oh, wait, they can’t get any lower.
EDIT: “Oh wait. They can’t get any lower unless we…s-s-s-start giving games away free. hmmmmm.”
What do you, fellow Empire Board Gamer, think about this? Please, do let us know in the comments.
